What’s the difference between EP (Pharmaceutical) Grade and Raw Lanolin?
Raw lanolin has a stronger sheep like smell and is mostly used as a lubricant, for rust proofing, for leather protection etc, while our EP grade lanolin has little to no odour.
EP is ultra-pure, pharmaceutical-grade anhydrous lanolin that conforms to the most recent edition of the European Pharmacopoeia and mostly used for cracked lips, dry skin, eczema, diaper rash, breastfeeding mums etc.
What makes our lanolin stand out from the rest?
One major thing that sets our lanolin apart from the rest is that the sheeps from New Zealand are bred in a non stressful environment like countryside and alpine ranges.

FAQs
FAQs
Is lanolin cruelty-free?
Lanolin is a waxy substance derived mainly from the wool of sheep. The sheep's sebaceous glands produce this “wool wax” or "wool grease" to help shed water and keep the sheep dry. It's extracted by putting the wool through a centrifuge machine that separates the oil from other chemicals and debris. Sheep are not harmed during the painless wool shearing process, therefore lanolin is 100% cruelty free.

Is lanolin safe for babies?
Yes! In fact, most hospitals use lanolin to nursing mums and it’s safe for newborns. Our EP Grade lanolin has so many uses, is made of all natural ingredients and is proven safe for both mums and babies.
Is lanolin safe for pregnant women?
Lanolin is safe for pregnant women however, some women are more sensitive during pregnancy, so we always recommend for you to consult your doctor.
My lanolin has hardened and solidified, what should I do?
A bit like honey, lanolin is all natural and is therefore heat susceptible. This means there is a slight tendency for it to solidify in colder months and be more ‘liquid’ in warmer months. We recommend warming the product up before use during colder seasons.
What is the shelf life of NZ Naturally Lanolin?
It's officially 2 years but it actually lasts forever and our lanolin never goes mouldy.

I struggled with pure Vaseline causing too much drying on my lips, but this product is perfect and so moisturising! Best night time lip mask that I’ve tried so far. Thank you!
I had been struggling to find something to help my unusually dry lips. I came across someone recommending 100% pure lanolin online then went looking for some to buy. This product has saved my lips when nothing else could. Highly recommend and will be purchasing again.
Have tried everything else and this one actually soothes and works on my skin
We really like the lanolin. I have had a cold lately and have been using it under my nose to help with the nose blowing redness and soreness. It works so well. I also use it overnight on my skin, and wake up with tighter, younger feeling skin. Really enjoy it actually. Would recommend. Expected it to have a bad sheepy smell but it really doesn’t! Have it on my lips at the moment, and it’s lovely.
Great stuff, a forgotten technology.
Fixed the painful crack in my thumb when tough hands cream failed. Re lanolised my swanny now it's softer and more water proof. Surely manly stuff.
